1. Tour Booking & Confirmation Process

Puri Tour Package is an inbound destination unit managed by KV Tours Pvt. Ltd. To confirm a private tour package or customized itinerary:

• Initial Enquiry: Submit your tentative travel dates, group size, and category preference via our web form or WhatsApp desk.
• Custom Proposal: Our local desk provides a clear day-wise itinerary with transparent vehicle type, hotel options, and pricing breakdown.
• Advance Deposit: Bookings are secured upon receipt of an advance booking deposit (typically 25% to 40% depending on hotel payment policies during peak seasons).
• Confirmation Voucher: A formal booking confirmation voucher with local coordinator contact details and driver assignment information is issued.

2. Vehicle Allocation & Sightseeing Rules

• Vehicles are allocated based on group size: AC Sedan (Dzire/Etios or similar) for 1–3 passengers; AC SUV (Ertiga/Innova or similar) for 4–6 passengers; AC Tempo Traveller for larger family/pilgrim groups.
• Air conditioning operates during transit and highway drives. In accordance with local motor vehicle guidelines and temple parking zones, AC may be turned off when parked or crawling in congested pedestrian zones around Grand Road.
• Sightseeing routes follow the confirmed itinerary. Vehicle usage is point-to-point and itinerary-bound; extra detours or unplanned out-of-route travel may incur nominal per-kilometer charges.

3. Temple Guidelines & Darshan Assistance Scope

Please note our explicit scope of temple assistance:

• Temple Administration Authority: Shree Jagannath Temple is governed strictly by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA). No commercial tour operator or individual can guarantee queue-free access, special passes, or bypass temple administration security checks.
• Entry Eligibility: As per centuries-old temple administration statutes, entry into the inner temple complex is restricted to orthodox Hindus. Non-Hindu visitors are cordially guided to view the temple exterior and Patitapavana from the Lion's Gate (Singhadwara) or nearby designated vantage points.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, electronic items, smartwatches, cameras, leather products (shoes, belts, wallets), and outside food/tobacco are strictly banned inside the temple. Safe cloaking facilities are available at designated spots near the gates.
• Local Coordinator Role: Our verified local guides and temple coordinators assist with shoe-stand navigation, orientation through major shrines inside the compound, explaining temple traditions, and coordinating sacred Mahaprasad collection at Ananda Bazar.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand travel plans can change unexpectedly. Cancellations are processed transparently:

• 15 or more days before departure: 90% refund of the deposit (subject to non-refundable hotel supplier charges if applicable).
• 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% refund of the deposit.
• Less than 7 days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable due to vehicle reservation holding and hotel lock-in policies.
• Rath Yatra / Peak Holiday Season: Bookings during Rath Yatra, Christmas/New Year week, and long holiday weekends are subject to strict hotel cancellation clauses communicated prior to booking confirmation.
• Weather / Force Majeure: In event of severe coastal weather advisories, cyclone warnings, or Chilika lagoon boating restrictions issued by the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority or local administration, boat safaris or outdoor excursions will be rescheduled or adjusted in safety-first consultation with travelers.
